Trailbreaker

Here's
a commission for Trailbreaker and a lady friend. This was a fun
piece and I took it on with gusto since I had been wanting to draw
Trailbreaker for a while. After looking at a few screencaps for
reference I decided that the G1 animators had the same disdain for
coloring black areas as I do because they "cheated" Trailbreaker with
dark greys and black lowlights. So I did the same here. The
lady outfit was fun to draw too, especially designing the bodice piece.
