I've been wanting to draw Shattered Glass Prima for a while and I based
this one on the original BotCon toy where it was the Classics Prime
mold (I know there's been bigger and better Optimus figures since then
but the Classics one still clicks with me).
Since Akane Shinjo is based on SG Prime I thought it would be neat to
do the same here and went with her colors when working on Prima.
This also started life out as copied-and-tweaked version of my
original Prima acrylic stand sketch since I thought the pose would work
for the Shattered Glass version as well. I think both turned out
to be a good decisions. :3
