Thanks to CapturedPrey.com, I was able to get my greedy little hands on a Masterpiece Rodimus Convoy figure. The toy is pretty badass, so I drew some obligatory fanart. :3

From the get-go, I wanted to draw something a little more dynamic. Usually when I start a pinup like this I go with a horizontal layout rather than a vertical one. I had a couple doodles with her jumping and such, but it wasn't working for me so I put her feet back on the ground and it just started to flow. The pose is simple, yet crazy and I like it. It doesn't look relaxed by any means and you don't get much more "non static" than that. I did a crazy canted crop with the negative space since the whole thing reminded me of some sort of insane modeling photo shoot. ^_^

As for the outfit, this isn't the first time I've drawn a "Rodimus Prima" before, but I used the new figure for reference a lot more this time around rather than going off of memory. Masterpiece Rodimus, like the movie counterpart, has a weird magenta tone to him that sometimes looks pink. I tried to replicate that a little in her color scheme here.
