I
started this soon after getting Power Ghouls Voltageous. I've
been waiting for the doll's release for a while and knew I wanted to
draw her, but couldn't think of anything until I actually got her in
hand. I'm running out of room on the Monster High shelf so I've
got her hanging out with my X-Men figures. I started this wacky
headcanon idea that super heroine Frankie trains under Storm to learn
how to shock fools with electricity. XD
The lineart turned out alright, but I'm not completely thrilled with
the colors. I tried to really emulate a classic comic book motif
by using a lot of blocky blacks for shading and I think that screwed me
up since I've never really learned to use those well. :/
