I
thought I'd commemorate leap year with something, but couldn't think of
an idea for a while. Then I saw the image Google had of a bunch
of frogs today so I came up with this cute, silly little idea. :3
The pencils came out pretty good, but I completely fucked up the inks.
I was about to just trash it but I couldn't just give up on it
totally because I liked the idea so much. Thankfully I had
scanned the pencils to show a friend before starting on the ill-fated
inks, so I threw some color over the sketch as a semi-transparent
layer. I think this piece benefitted
from the shitty inking since the light colors help make this feel more
bright and happy. ^_^
