It's
been a while since I've drawn Kaori but she's one of those character
where it's like seeing an old friend and continuing the conversation
right where you left off, no matter how long it's been. ^_^
I've actually had this as a wip for a month or so, it was one of my
go-to files I would open and work on for a couple minutes at a time
after a rough day at work or whatnot. I dropped in some gradients
and such with plans to do some hard cel shades but I felt like just
these simple shades worked well with the lineart. Sometimes less
is more, right?
