Ariel Doodle 2016.01.04 When I drew Rogue today I was actually torn between drawing her or Ariel.  My buddy Josh said I should draw Rogue AND THEN draw Ariel. Well, I can't argue with that logic!  :D I went through a couple boring poses before trying something a bit more complicated.  For the most part this turned out alright but foreshortening is still definitely not my strong suit.  XD  The colors are really what saves this one.  Like the Rogue pic before Ariel here I used darker and more saturated flat colors to help everything "pop" a bit more.  The light shards at the top of the piece happened as an accident while I was trying for a completely different effect.  Oh well, it's better than what I was planning to do anyways.  :D Web site contents © Copyright Silas Zee 2016, All rights reserved.
